מכיר סוזוקי?…

מופע של  Damo Suzuki עם להקת TREE  המקומית באוזןבר, ליל ראשון, 09.02.2014, פילנטרופיה פסיכדלית של פרוגסטייג', מופע חימום – "תעני אסתר". מדווח בקול ואור – יובל אראל.

אני חייב לפתוח בבדיחה פאתטית – "איש אחד, לא משנה מאיזו עדה, נוהג ברכב בכביש החוף, במהלך הנסיעה חולף על פניו  רוכב אופנוע, וצועק לו "מכיר סוזוקי?" ונעלם… הנהג מתעצבן מגביר מהירות וחולף על פני האופנוע ושוב חוזר הסיפור על עצמו, האופנוע עובר על פניו והרוכב צועק "מכיר סוזוקי?" ושוב נעלם כך מספר פעמים..

כעבור כמה קלומטרים מבחין נהג הרכב בסימני תאונה ורואה את רוכב האופנוע תלוי פצוע על עץ, "צחקת עלי הא" מגחך הנהג, "איזה צחקתי" בוכה הרוכב "רציתי רק לדעת איפה הברקס…."

אז כן, אמש בכלל לא צחקנו, כמה עשרות ברי מזל שהתאספו באולם המוארך של מועדון אוזןבר הגבירו מהירות כמה פעמים לאורכו של הלילה על מנת להיצמד לדאמו סוזוקי, אחד יפני, כבר לא ילד, מי שנולד בשנת 1950 תחת השם קנג'ו סוזוקי ועשה את ימי נעוריו באירופה עד הצטרפותו להרכב הפרוגרסיב הגרמני (קראוט-רוק) – CAN.

כן, דאמו סוזוקי סולנה היפני של להקת ה "קראוט-רוק" הגרמנית CAN הנחשבת כאחת המובילות והחשובות בז'אנר, הידועה כהשפעה מרכזית על אמנים כגון Brian Eno ו- Radiohead ואחת מהמובילות הישירות ליצירת סצנת הפוסט-רוק העולמית, נחת בישראל.

האירוע הנו אחד מיני כמה במסגרת סדרת מופעי הפרוגרסיב המופקים ומאורגנים בידי "פרוגסטייג'" חברה שהוקמה על מנת להחזיר את סצנת הפרוג בישראל למודעות וליצור סצנה מאוחדת וחזקה. החברה האחראית על הבאתו של ריק וויקמן לתל אביב לפני מספר שבועות ובאמתחתם עוד חתימות בוקינג עם הרכבים נוספים דוגמת "קראוון" שתנחת כאן לקראת האביב.

לזכותם של אנשי פרוגסטייג' יאמר כי המופע המדובר שהתקיים אמש באוזןבר היה מעין אקט פילנטרופי, היות ובתכנון המקורי הבוקינג היה אמור לקחת חלק במועדון רדינג3 בנמל תל אביב אל מול עיני כמה מאות צופים חובבי פרוגרסיב, הסתבר שהציפיות לא תאמו את המציאות המקומית, המופע הוסט איפה לאוזןבר ומחירי הכרטיסים הותאמו, אין ספק שאת הוצאות ההפקה הזו כיסתה פרוגסטייג' מכיסה, אבל לא זה העניין. החשוב מכל הוא עצם הגעתו של דאמו, המופיע כבר כעשרים שנה בהופעות סולו, הוא נוהג להתחבר להרכבים מקומיים במדינות בהן הוא מופיע, ולרוב מדובר במופע שכל כולו מעין ג'אם סשן, המבוסס על אילתורי מוזיקה אלקטרונית ופסיכדליה.

אמש קיבלו אותם עשרות "יודעי דבר" שהתגודדו באוזןבר חוויה פסיכדלית מהסוג האפל, במופע שהתנהל לאורך שעתיים וחצי, לו קדם אקט חימום קצר ומעניין של חברי הרכב האינדי המקומי "תעני אסתר" שדרך אגב ביצעו לראשונה בפומבי את החלק השלישי באלבומם המיועד, החלק הנוגע בפרוגרסיב הפסיכדלי (ממש התאמה מצויינת כפתיח) וזו הזדמנות לאחל להם בהצלחה עם התוכניות להיכנס תחת כנפי אחד המפעלים המוזיקלים היותר מוצלחים במחוזותינו ולא אוסיף מילה.

אחזור לחוויה הפסיכדלית שנתנו חברי להקת TREE  אותם כבר תיארתי כאן בעבר כסוג של גווני בלוז, גווני רית'ם, הרמוניה, פסיכדליה ואילתורי ג'אם סשן אינסטרומנטליים ארוכים, הסט המוזיקלי הכל כך אופייני להם היווה מעטפת צלילים שליוותה את ההופעה הכי מטורפת, הכי קיצונית, הכי סוריאליסטית שחוויתי אי פעם, במהלך שעתיים וחצי שכללו הפסקה של חצי דקה כדי לשתות קצת מים ולנופף בחיוך לקהל ביצע מר דאמו סוזוקי שיר אחד בלבד, הייתה זו למעשה מעין פרשנות ואימפרוביזציה של חברי ההרכב TREE בשילוב טקסטים ומלמולים חסרי פשר (גילוי נאות: ההערכה הזו ניתנת לאחר סיעור מוחות שהתקיים היום בין כמה מנוכחי המופע) אותם הריץ דאמו במעין הטעמה וחוסר הטעמה, מתח ומשך אותם לכדי הפיכתם לכלי מוזיקלי בפני עצמו, אבל אני לא מקבל את הקטע שלו כמובן מאליו והתחלתי תוך כדי המופע להריץ גוגל על קטעי המשפטים שזיהיתי, מסתבר שיש כוונות נסתרות מאחורי הטקסטים, הם לא ממש שאובים מהכלום, מהריק או מהרגע, מדובר למעשה במספר תמלילי שירים של להקת CAN, זיהיתי חלק מהשיר "I Want More" מהאלבום "Flow Motion" וחלק מהבית הראשון בשיר בשם " Yoo Doo Right" המופיע במקורו באלבום הבכורה של  CAN, בשם Monster Movie שהושק בשנת 1969, אלבום שבו דאמו טרם נטל חלק בהקלטות, במקור מדובר ביצירה שאורכה האולפני מעל 20 דקות והוא מתאפיין בחזרה ריתמית אין סופית בנוסח עדות הטרייבל טראנס (ז'אנר שלא נוסד עדיין בזמנו…) על משפטים הלקוחים ממכתב אהבה כלשהוא כמנטרה דתית. דאמו הפך אותו למשפט אחד אינסופי…

את התחושה שהפכתי לעיסת בצק עגולה ותפוחה אותה משטיחים ומדביקים על קירות התנור הלוהט לכדי יצירת לאפה חמימה ופריכה חשתי להערכתי יחד עם כל הנוכחים במופע, סוג של ריחוף פסיכוטי והתרוממות מעל רצפת הבטון לעבר התקרה האקוסטית למחצה של המועדון, אנשים שהחזיקו מעמד באמצעות התנודדות בלתי פוסקת ובהייה חודרת בהתפתלות הגופנית של מר דאמו סוזוקי על הבמה שרדו את האיוונט הזה, שיר של 20 דקות כאמור הפך ליצירה בת 150 דקות, דגימות זעירות וזעומות ממנה הכנתי בקליפ שבתחתית הפוסט הזה, אולם על מנת להגיע אליו תוך ניסיון להבין מה עברתי, אני והקהל הקדוש אמש, ואף כדי לצפות בגלריית תמונות מהחוויה, תאלצו לחצות או לדלג מעל הטקסט המקורי של השיר "Yoo Doo Right" המתחיל בשורה הבאה.
